About 4 years ago, I figured I’d give painting a try. I’ve always been a simple illustrator – pencil and pen which is where I feel most comfortable – painting is a whole new unfamiliar medium which has always been intimidating 😅. But anyway, I procured a bunch of brushes, acrylic paints, and canvases and never pulled the trigger on them except for a YouTube “follow along learn to paint with acrylics” tutorial video which was a nice learning challenge.

So here we are 4 years later, and figured I’d give it another whirl. This is my first canvas using just paint brushes. I generated an AI image to use as a reference.
